The IWFL was founded in 2005. The league doubled from
4 teams in 2005 to 8 teams in 2008. Originally, all games were played at
Thiel Field in Today, over 100 women participate in the IWFL. Hardball has won the post-season tournament every year except 2008, where Suzi's Yoties were the IWFL champions. Also in 2008, Suzi's Yoties finished 2nd at the ASA "B" National Tournament, while Hardball finished 3rd. |
